5 Quick Ways to Deal with Nerves

Tomorrow is a big day for me as I will be giving a speech to a room full of strangers.  I have been practicing and going over it in my head, but it is a daunting prospect.  You may find you get nerves before certain situations.  Here is a brief summary of what you can do to help yourself in these situations.

1. Rehearse beforehand and practice breathing calmly.
2. Turn nervous thoughts into positive affirmations.
3. Shift focus from yourself to content.
4. Take your time and keep the situation in perspective.
5. Let go of perfectionism.
