Today was super hot and having to spend the day in a really hot office with no air conditioning is no fun. When I got home the first thing I did was to fill a bowl with cold water and give my feet a foot scrub. It was really relaxing and gave my feet a nice exfoliate and clean. But it got me thinking. The foot scrub I used came out of a packet, but I bet there are some really easy recipes out there. So here are 3 for you to try out at home.
These homemade recipes below could soothe some of the most beat up feet out there. Especially after hitting those hot summer streets. Besides, I know most of you already have some of these ingredients at home. Why not save some money and pamper your feet?

Ingredients1 Cup Salt
1 1/4 Cup Coconut Oil
1 1/4 Cup Vitamin E Oil
3-4 drops Essential Oil for fragrance
I have noticed DIY Scrubs on Pinterest and just how simple they are to make. It’s just a matter of deciding if you want a salt or sugar scrub and what type of oil and essential oil scent you prefer.
Just mix your Course Sea Salt or Sugar with your Oils at a 2:1 ratio. If you are only using one oil mix 1/2 cup Oil with 1 cup Salt.
Then add 3-4 drops of Essential Oil for fragrance and stir it up.
Put your scrub into a container and you’re done.
And it is perfect for a quick and cheap last minute gift. Put it in a jar, tie a ribbon around it, attach a label and you have a fancy and luxurious gift.
