Beneficial Lavender and Oatmeal Soap Recipe

Earlier I talked about how I went into a really lovely shop where I bought some handmade soap.  This then made me wonder is this something that is easy to do so I had a look and found this lovely Lavender and Oatmeal Soap recipe.  Making your own is a brilliant idea as you know exactly what you have put in it and it can be used as a really simple but effect gifts for family and friends.
Longstanding skin problems, like eczema, rosacea and psoriasis, either diminished or disappeared after using this soap.

Use it for face and body. In the exfoliating action, oats scrub away dead skin cells. In the colloidal action, oatmeal binds moisturizing emollients to your skin, making it softer and more elastic.

The floral fragrance of lavender, loved for centuries, will both calm and delight your spirits. In fact, aromatherapists prescribe lavender as an antidepressant. The essential oil of lavender in our bars also makes them anti-bacterial and anti-fungal.

It is super quick and easy, yet the results are clearly a handcrafted soap.  The use of natural grain and lavender flowers makes it quite evident that this soap is homemade.
The soap makes a wonderful Mother’s Day, birthday or thank you gift and only takes a few minutes to make a batch.
Making the Lavender Oatmeal Soap Recipe
Make this Lavender Oatmeal soap with a melt and pour soap base.
The Lavender Oatmeal soap recipe only takes four ingredients to make. All store well for future batches and most of us already have oatmeal in our pantry anyway.
The soap can be melted right in the microwave, along with the oats and lavender flowers, then just add the essential oil and pour into moulds.
Pop out of the moulds once cool. That’s it.
