You know it can be a bit of a downer on your weekend when you have to go to work and well, work isn't all that exciting. All you are doing is looking at the time and finding yourself bothered by how slowly things are going. It may be you just can't get motivated, your brain has switched off and it's been a really long and stressful week. You just want the weekend to finally start so you can unwind and do what you want to do.
To be fair a bad day can happen any day of the week, but let's get you through your Friday and make it more of a Friyay! If you look at your working week there may well be ups and downs, but the main thing is to look at the bigger picture of what you have achieved. Too often people focus on the here now instead of stepping back. You may have had a really productive week and not realised it! And remember if you look after a team of people if you look at the bigger picture then easing up every now and then may actually help productivity in the long term.
Clear your head
You know I have talked about walking before because there are lots of benefits to getting some fresh air, moving around and taking in a change of environment. Even 5 minutes makes all the difference. Take the time to switch off from what you are doing so that you can refocus when you return to your desk. Walk up the road, round the block, to another part of the building, just move and download and see how much better you feel.Do you want a simple and fun way to reinvigorate your Friday?
