What to Eat to get Better

The best way to cleanse your body when you are not well is to eat healthy food.  It may be tempting to eat junk and fizzy drinks, but your body won't recover as quickly and you'll feel even worse.  This simply curry recipe will help you get better.

Eating spicy foods like curry, onion and garlic help remove mucus. Make a coconut milk (not dairy – dairy is mucus forming) curry sauce and saute in the garlic and onion and pour it over lightly steamed veggies.
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 1/2 red onion, diced
  • 6 gloves garlic, minced
  • 3 Tbsp. curry powder
  • 2 tsp. red curry paste (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp. honey (optional but amazing, highly recommended)
You must avoid dairy, meat, junk food, wheat, processed food, and fast food if you want to get better quickly. No one wants to cook when they are sick so grab fruit! It’s easy, tasty and easy to digest. Plus you are helping your body cleanse. If you have Candida and can’t have fruit I would suggest making blended vegetable smoothies containing kale, water, carrot, cucumber, ginger and garlic plus any nutritional powders you have in the house like spirulina, chlorella, wheat grass,  & green blends.
