Offer Opportunities
Today I have spent the first part of the weekend at a networking seminar event. It has been interesting and I ended up speaking to a man who lives in the same county as me. A long story short I was able to introduce him to someone so he could join a networking group in our county. Now this group is no good to me at this point in time, but it was nice to make the introduction and feel that I offered this person something of value to them at no cost to me. And that is the point. Somethings are of no value to you, but to others they are worth something. You may something and someone that would be useful to someone else. It costs nothing to make a simple introduction. You have offered value to those two people by connecting them and you have increased your value by doing something helpful. Never miss opportunities to help others even if it is in a small way. You never know what may come of it.
