Are you aiming too high?

You know if you set your goal too high it will be harder for you to achieve and you'll be less likely to meet it. This is because you won't be able to break down the steps to achieve it in a realistic way and it will just seem incomprehensible to you on how you can do it. You can model yourself on someone that has already achieved your aim and copy some of the things that they did. 

Be humble enough to start small

Some of the most successful people out there started small and from humble beginnings then worked their way up. There is nothing wrong with this and chances are the reason they are so successful now is because they put all the correct foundations in place. People that start a goal in the right way will achieve long term success. You've seen those super quick success stories where in no time at all everything that person has is suddenly lost as quickly if not quicker than it was gained.  Quick fixes to a problem often turn out to be temporary so thinking in the long term is going to serve you better and give you the results you desire.
