Tips to slim in under 10 days

It may not be your fun thing to do, but exercise really does help you to lose weight. The good news is you don't have to spend hours in the gym to see results. In fact being outside can have even more benefits because you will have the added bonus of getting some fresh air in your lungs and the stimulation of the environment around you

Run!

Get yourself a good pair of running trainers and go out and have a good run. Start with a shorter run and build up your running time. Running and jogging will help you to burn calories, reduce stress, suppress appetite hormones and tone up. You will also continue to burn calories for as long as 2 hours after you stopped running. If you find running causes you issues with your feet, ankles, knees or hips then you could consider cycling, which is another great way to burn calories. Don't like going out on your own? Join a running club or go running with a work colleague or friend of a similar ability. You could also sign up for charity runs to give yourself a goal to aim for.

There are lots of reasons that you may have to want to be slimmer. For your health, to feel better about yourself, to fit your clothes more easily or for a special event you are attending. 

Remember these are the tips you will have already learned to help you kick start your weight loss. 
  • Take a 10 walk after eating to burn calories and aid digestion
  • Eat more fibre to stay feeling fuller for longer
  • Cut down on salty foods to avoid bloating and extra calories
  • Eat at home to avoid larger portions and hidden calories
  • Do 15 minutes of push ups and squats each day to burn fat and tone up
