5 Days to get yourself Re-motivated. Day 1

Did you know that banging your head against the wall for 1 hour burns 150 calories? You may well feel like you are banging your head against a wall sometimes when you are trying to get 101 things done at once or get into a new habit. Let's take the New Year as an example. Many people like you for instance, may decide to start a diet in the New Year, but come February 80% have given up on that idea. Temptation, the long cold, dark January, feeling like you're in a rut, overwhelm and a multitude of other things take over. 

Find your Focus

Is there too much going on in your life? Are you taking on too many things at once. This is probably sapping you of your energy and concentration and you end up feeling that you are getting nowhere. It takes energy and focus to achieve a goal, whatever that may be and if your energy and focus are being spread too thin, then you are going to struggle to achieve your aim. And what is your aim? What do you want to really get done? What is more important to you right now? If you can work out that, then you can focus on the steps and tasks you need to take to make that happen.

Still banging your head against that wall? Try a 45 minute walk and take the dog if you have one! Clear away those cobwebs and reassess what your focus is. Your head will feel a lot better for it and you will burn 150 calories at the same time.
